Fission Logistics runs 80 trucks across Ontario out of Mississauga. We load in Hamilton every working day, run Windsor daily, and cover Ottawa, the north and Quebec with the same fleet.

Heavy loads on 1 truck
Coil, ingots, structural steel and stone moving inside Ontario often weigh more than a tandem can legally carry. We run 16 multi axle curtainside units for those loads. If you're paying for 2 tandems on an Ontario lane, ask us about doing it with 1.

Questions shippers ask
Do you do same day in the GTA?
Often, since our trucks are based in Mississauga, but it's never guaranteed. Call dispatch with the dock and the load.
How far is next day?
500 miles from the GTA. That covers Southern Ontario, Ottawa, Sudbury, Sault Ste Marie and into Quebec. Dispatch gives transit times for Thunder Bay and beyond with the quote.
Why does the multi axle matter for domestic freight?
Ontario allows more weight on more axles. Our 6 axle carries up to 86,000 lb inside Ontario, against 45,000 lb on a tandem. A heavy coil, ingot or stone order that often takes 2 trucks can move on 1.
Do you run Quebec?
Yes. Most Quebec lanes are next day, on tandems or 4 axle units. Western Canada is on the Quebec and Western Canada page.
