Fission Logistics runs 80 trucks and 140 trailers out of Mississauga. All 140 trailers are ours, including the ones owner operators pull. The tandems and the 6 axle units run Canada and the US, and the 4 axle units stay in Ontario and Quebec.

The tractors
80 tractors, company and owner operator units, all under the Fission name and safety program. Every one has Samsara ELD and live GPS.
What is on every flatbed and Conestoga
- Chains and binders, 4 inch straps, edge protectors and rubber belting.
- Small and large coil racks, 4 by 4 and 6 by 6 timbers.
- Wood blocking.
- Tarps on the open decks.
- Flags and signs go on when a load is overlength or oversize.
Which trailer for your load
You don't need to know. Put the commodity, dimensions and weight on the quote form and dispatch names the trailer with the price.
We don't carry ramps. Machines go on at your end from a dock, with a loader or by crane.

Are the trailers yours or rented?
They're Fission trailers. Owner operators who pull for us pull Fission trailers too, so your load rides on the same equipment whoever is driving.
What is the difference between tandem and multi axle?
A tandem has 2 axles and carries up to 45,000 lb in Canada and the US. Our multi axle units are 50 ft curtainsides built for the heavier weights Ontario allows. The 8 six axle units also run to Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. The 8 four axle units stay in Ontario and Quebec.
Do all trailers carry securement gear?
Yes. Every flatbed and Conestoga has chains, binders, straps, edge protectors, coil racks and timbers.
Can I track my load?
Yes. Enter the load or PO number on the track page and dispatch sends a live Samsara link within 15 minutes, 7 am to 6 pm ET.
