Why it matters on a cross border load
CTPAT, PIP and FAST cover the security of the truck, the trailer, the seal and the driver from pickup to the border. We file the ACE or ACI eManifest before the truck reaches the bridge, and the truck can use the FAST lane when the load, the importer and the driver qualify. See cross border flatbed for the lanes.
What goes in the carrier packet
The CTPAT status page and SVI number, the PIP certificate, the CSA and FAST approval letters, the SmartWay certificate, the WBE Canada and CAMSC certificates and the certificate of insurance.
