What moves in the tri cities
Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge freight comes out of machine builders, auto parts plants and fabricators. A production cell or a tall machine goes on an open deck. Parts, dies and extrusions that have to arrive dry ride in a Conestoga. Coil comes in from Hamilton for the processors, and building products go out to the yards.

From a skid of extrusions to a full production cell, height picks the trailer: up to 102 inches rides dry in a Conestoga, up to 120 inches rides legal on one of our 4 step decks, and taller goes in the 32 ft well of one of our 3 double drops. Send the crated height, the weight and the tie down points before booking. Machines are blocked and chained to our own written securement procedures. Auto parts and the 401 lane west
Supplier freight from tri cities plants runs west on the 401 to Woodstock, London and Windsor, which is a daily lane for us, and on into Michigan. London drops are on our flatbed trucking in London, Ontario page. Most of it rides in a Conestoga so it loads by forklift from the side and arrives dry. Elmira, Ayr, Guelph and Woodstock
Elmira, New Hamburg and Ayr are on the same 401 runs as the cities. Guelph is a short run east on Highway 7, so a truck can take a Guelph load on the same trip. Woodstock is the next stop west, where the 403 joins the 401. Freight heading east goes to the GTA and Hamilton.
Into the US from Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge
A machine from a Cambridge builder going to a US plant rides on a step deck or double drop, with permits if it is oversize. Michigan, Indiana and most of Ohio cross at Detroit, on the Ambassador Bridge, or the Gordie Howe International Bridge when the lane calls for it. New York, Pennsylvania and Cleveland cross at Buffalo. We are CTPAT validated and PIP and FAST approved, and dispatch files ACE and ACI on every cross border load.
