Shingles and building products transport
Fission Logistics hauls shingles and building products out of Mississauga. Shingles are heavy and easy to ruin. One torn wrap or wet corner and the yard can refuse the pallet. A Conestoga carries flatbed weight, loads by forklift from either side and keeps pallets dry without a tarp.
What we haul
Asphalt shingles, roofing membrane and accessories, siding, insulation, palletized stone and pavers, steel racking, drywall and other palletized building materials. Plant to distributor, yard or jobsite.

Delivered clean
Inside a Conestoga nothing touches the pallets but the straps, and nothing gets wet. Across about 16,000 loads a year, our claims ratio is under 0.1 percent.
Lanes
Southern Ontario plants to yards across the GTA, Peel and York, Hamilton, Kitchener and Cambridge, London and Windsor. Cross border both ways with Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky.
Questions shippers ask
Why not a dry van for shingles?
A van only loads from the back. A Conestoga opens on the side, so each yard's pallets come off without moving the rest.
Do you handle multi stop deliveries?
Yes. One plant to several yards on the same truck is normal. The curtain opens at each stop and only that yard's pallets come off.
Can you take stone and pavers?
Yes, blocked and strapped. Weight and height decide the trailer.
What happens if a yard is not ready?
The driver tells dispatch, and dispatch calls you. Send the gate hours when you book so dispatch can plan around them.
