Crated machines from Markham and Newmarket plants
Markham and Newmarket machine builders ship crated and skidded units that have to arrive dry and upright. The crated height picks the trailer: up to 102 inches rides in a Conestoga, up to 120 inches rides legal on a step deck, and taller goes in a double drop. We have 4 step decks and 3 double drops, and crated machines are chained at their tie down points and blocked. We do not carry ramps, so the lift is booked at both ends. Every working day. Markham and Richmond Hill are about 45 km from our yard on the 407, and Newmarket about 60 km up the 404. Both are on our GTA runs, so next day is the norm and same day is often possible.
Can you do same day in York Region?
Often, when a truck is close. Newmarket and the north end are a longer run from our yard, so call dispatch early with the dock and the load. It's never guaranteed.
